Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
- Must have an Unarmed license from the State of New York.
- Pay Rate $23.66/ per hour
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to customers and employees in a professional manner
- Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures
- Ability to handle conflicts calmly and efficiently
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Understanding of law enforcement procedures
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
- Military experience is beneficial
- Prior experience in loss prevention is advantageous
