The Business Development Lead is a deal shaper and brings an entrepreneurial energy and displays natural ability aligning client needs with business solutions. Our sales director targets the right clients and continues to grow and nurture quality customer acquisition pipeline, winning profitable deals. The Business Development Lead is expected to originate and sell comprehensive deals ranging from 250k – 3 million and building trust-based relationships with c-suite professionals.
We are looking for a sales professional with experience working with manufacturing, distribution, retail, and service-based enterprises. and consumer products enterprises. You come with existing trust-based relationships with industry professionals and will be accountable for driving incremental sales, originating, and closing deals with the support of
SSNW’s leadership and marketing and consulting professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Bring a focus on the entire sales life cycle from origination to closure.
- Determine pursuit strategies, develop client messaging plans, nurture relationships with decision makers, and apply industry-leading transformation strategies and practices.
- Collaborate with marketing and SSNW leadership.
- Be client facing, maintaining pipeline target and sales close target.
- Must live within PNW (Oregon and Washington) and be able to attend periodic meetings in Beaverton, OR.
- Ability to be client facing from deal qualification through close.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of negotiating and closing enterprise-level deals in consulting and software. Experience selling ERP projects is a bonus.
- Existing trust-based relationships within the Pacific Northwest is required.
- Proven track record closing complex consulting deals, including ERP projects in value greater than 1 million.
- Demonstrated experience in sales leadership with progressive client facing responsibilities.
- Fluent in emerging IT and Business trends, with special emphasis in Microsoft ERP technology and its competitors.
- Ability to listen for client pain points/opportunities to prime follow up discussions and provide SSNW aligned solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to collaborate with SSNW’s senior consultants and technical staff
Pay Range
130K Base with year-end bonus commensurate with performance
