What are the responsibilities and job description for the Arabic Linguist Role Player position at Strategic Solutions Unlimited?
Strategic Solutions Unlimited, Inc is a highly experienced provider of exercise support to USSOCOM, the Army and other DoD formations. SSU routinely recruits for a wide variety of Role Players to support unit training events. SSU is seeking Role Players to support exercises to create realistic training environments. This position is for a part-time, on-call contractor to support training exercises.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide acting during military training to assist in creating realistic situations that may be encountered while on deployment.
- Coordinate with the Exercise Control Group (ECG) to receive further guidance on scenario rehearsals and train-up schedule.
- Execute scenarios at various training locations directed by the Exercise Control Group.
- Engage with the training audience through scenarios to inform, educate and mentor exercise participants.
- Provide the Exercise Control Group feedback with respect to each team’s performance, as well as recommendations for any retraining/reevaluation if necessary.
- Attend exercise meetings/update briefs, AAR, as required.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Authorized to work in the US as verified by the I-9 Document.
- Ability to speak and understand the Arabic language.
- Fluent in English.
- Must pass a background check to gain access to US Military Installation.
- Must be able to stand, sit and walk for up to 1 mile.
- Ability to move/lift fifteen pounds.
- Strong communications skills; oral and written.
- Must be able to perform oral instructions and speak clearly.
- Must perform in both rural and urban environments.
