Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in DAST, SAST, and SCA scanning tools such as Black Duck, along with hands-on expertise in application security within banking and financial services applications . This role involves providing security consulting, working with development teams on defect remediation, and ensuring robust security practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) and SAST (Static Analysis Software Testing) to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Utilize Black Duck and other Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools for security scanning and risk assessment.
• Provide security consulting on complex issues related to data access, integrity, confidentiality, and business continuity .
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate security defects and enforce secure SDLC methodologies .
• Ensure compliance with established security standards and bug bars.
• Perform threat analysis and risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security best practices for application security coding.
