Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for collecting, consolidating, and analyzing data from a variety of internal and external sources. The successful candidate will identify discrepancies and patterns in the data, research root causes of data quality issues, and deliver actionable insights to improve overall data integrity.
The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute clean-up initiatives and maintain documentation of analysis procedures and resolutions. A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities are key for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Consolidation:
- Gather and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources to prepare it for analysis.
- Data Analysis & Issue Detection:
- Conduct detailed reviews to uncover discrepancies, inconsistencies, and underlying patterns within datasets.
- Root Cause Research:
- Investigate causes of data issues and provide strategic, actionable insights to resolve them.
- Workaround Implementation:
- Design and deploy temporary solutions to manage immediate data issues, minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with teams across departments to create and execute plans for comprehensive data clean-up.
- Monitoring & Progress Tracking:
- Track the progress of data correction efforts, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of identified issues.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of data analysis procedures, issue findings, and resolution steps for future reference and continuous improvement.
