Job Title: Field Tech – Hiring FAST!
Location: Mt. Pleasant, NC
Pay Rate: $22/HR on W2 Only – NO C2C
Setting: Onsite Required (Hybrid/Remote is NOT an Option)
Duration: 12 months.
Required Qualifications:
- High voltage and sub-station maintenance experience
- Familiarity with mechanical and electronic testing equipment (i.e. voltage testers, amp clamps, oscilloscopes, and various hand and power tools)
- Knowledge of heavy equipment for facility maintenance and working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements
- Working Conditions
- Working at heights
- Working in hot and cold weather
- This position contains a weight restriction of 265 pounds as an essential function of the job. The purpose of this restriction is to ensure that all weight rated equipment is used in an appropriate and safe manner within maximum allowed weight loading.
- Valid driver's license
- The ability to climb turbine towers (up to 300ft) daily is a requirement of this position
- Ability to complete level I job performance measures within 1 year
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of a Wind training program is preferred.
- Additional years of wind turbine experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with multiple wind turbine supplier technology.
Responsibilities:
- 60%, Maintenance of Wind Turbine Fleet
- Diagnose and resolve faults on turbines as they relate to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
- Perform pad mounted Transformer switching in accordance with all Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures
- Perform small or large corrective tasks on wind turbines
- Work as scheduled during the week and on call as required by manager
- Climb 300 ft. several times daily
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness at all times
- Work in a outdoor environment for an extended period of time
- Operate equipment including but not limited to forklifts and grounds keeping equipment.

- Complete necessary paperwork (work order, timesheet, tool and PPE inventory, and additional paperwork as necessary)
- Work within Maximo to complete work orders
- 20%, Add 'I Support for Sites
- Willing to travel and assist other Company Solutions when needed.
