Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Full stack Web Developer (React)for one of its clients in Charlotte, NC

Candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY.

Summary:

As a part of the web experience engineering team, you will collaborate with technology peers and business partners to design, build and deploy new software using agile/XP/test driven development using a wide range of technologies and solutions. You will be focused on developing well-designed, efficient code that adheres to the latest industry standards and assist in coding, testing, and debugging new software or making enhancements to existing software for customers. You will be working with designers, developers, and product owners in a small team setting to integrate software components into fully functional software systems spanning multiple business areas.

Senior Software Engineers are primarily responsible for designing highly complex solutions and then building and overseeing the execution of those designs. Individuals with this role are required to:

• Design and build highly complex software solutions using agile/XP/TDD.
• Program well-designed, efficient code independently.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners to build software solutions
• Clearly communicate team wide progress and identify blocking processes/patterns that hold a team back.
• Participate in paired programming and code reviews with juniors to expand the team s collective knowledge and understanding of software engineering.
• Complete independent research to refine best practices and present work to peers.

Required Tech skills:

• Strong experience developing scalable, responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
• Proficient in building, implementing, and supporting cloud-native SPA and server-rendered web applications in AWS.
• Deep understanding of web fundamentals, including semantic HTML, forms, and markup, as well as proficiency with Git version control.
• Skilled in writing unit/integration tests using Jest, Cypress, and other frameworks, with experience in implementing and testing accessibility (a11y).
• Expertise in using and configuring build tools like Gulp, Webpack, and Vite/esbuild, as well as maintaining coding standards with eslint and prettier.
• Strong team player, self-motivated, and able to adapt in a constantly changing environment with effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable troubleshooting and debugging issues independently across different parts of applications, with an understanding of complex technical concepts (APIs, modular CSS/JS).
• Desired qualifications include experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), supporting web applications and CMS, and familiarity with CI/CD tools (Concourse, GitHub Actions), as well as SEO and responsive web development.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in software development (including experience in related fields) with a portfolio of code samples, demonstrating expertise in building software solutions.
• Strong familiarity with IDEs, APIs, cloud-native engineering best practices, and multiple programming frameworks, ensuring efficient and concise code.
• Experience in automation, optimization, and creating repeatable patterns to enhance team efficiency.
• Deep understanding of functional programming, quick adaptation to new languages, and comfort working across multiple platforms.
• Skilled in turning complex ideas into user stories, providing estimates, breaking work into manageable tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in software development life cycle, debugging, and building robust solutions with minimal bugs.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles (authentication, authorization, encryption), and familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and remediation methods.
• Experience mentoring developers, providing technical guidance to leadership, and aligning technical decisions with business goals for sustainable innovation.
