What are the responsibilities and job description for the ISDA Negotiator position at Strategic Staffing Solutions?
My client, a leading Investment Bank, are looking for an ISDA Negotiator with direct ISDA/CSA/MCA negotiation experience, to join their team. My client is looking for candidates with ISDA experience in either Derivatives, Prime or Emerging Markets. Please note this role can also be based in Dallas or New York. It is an initial W2 contract that will go permanent after 2-3 months.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review and negotiate the following documents:
- ISDA, CSA and Derivative Master Agreements and related ancillary documents.
- Review legal opinions on netting and collateral enforceability including liaising with external counsel.
- Work, both internally and with counterparts, to gather comments and information.
- Organize execution of completed agreements and dispatch for counterparts' signature;
- Ensure return of signed documents and completion and closing of files.
- Respond to queries on the master documentation from various departments, including the front office.
Skills/Experience (required):
- 3 years of experience in an Operations or Legal/Trading Documentation role (including within a Credit, Risk or Treasury function) or attorney/paralegal experience within a law firm.
- Strong commercial acumen with a keen interest in derivative, repo, securities lending markets and products.
Advantageous Experience:
- Expertise in Prime agreements, REPO, or FST documentation.
- Must have fast-paced fund launch experience and the ability to handle end-of-month deadlines.
- Legal background is a plus (helpful for understanding agreements), but candidates will be joining operations, not legal.
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
