Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Facilities Lead is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all physical assets in a manufacturing plant. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, overseeing facility upgrades, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Lead plays a key role in supporting production by ensuring the reliability and availability of machinery, infrastructure, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Operations:
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operations of the manufacturing facility, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment.
• Ensure all facility systems (power, water, air) are functioning properly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with production managers to ensure that facility operations support manufacturing schedules and needs.
• Maintenance Management:
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment.
• Supervise the maintenance team and ensure that repairs and servicing are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Track and manage spare parts inventory to ensure quick replacement of critical equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major repairs and facility improvements.
• Team Leadership:

1. Supervise, train, and develop a team of maintenance and facilities staff.

2. Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching to team members.

3. Coordinate scheduling and assign tasks to ensure coverage across all shifts.

• Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain detailed records of facility operations, maintenance activities, and compliance with regulations.

2. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and energy usage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
