Job Summary:
Are you looking to apply your quantitative and analytical skills while gaining deeper insight into derivative products and legal documentation? The Cross Product Confirmation Execution Group is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Analyst to manage economic affirmation risk and legal confirmations for derivatives, primarily across Equities and Foreign Exchange products. This high-impact role involves close collaboration with clients, sales, traders, legal, and structurers to ensure risk mitigation through timely and accurate execution of ISDA documentation.
Team Overview – Your Impact:
The Operations division plays a key role in safeguarding the firm’s financial and reputational well-being. Within it, the Confirmation Execution Group is responsible for executing legal confirmations with institutional clients and broker-dealers. The team focuses on maintaining control, driving efficiency, and mitigating risk in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage economic affirmation risk by ensuring trades are affirmed within internal timelines.
- Execute and oversee ISDA and electronic confirmations with institutional clients and broker-dealers.
- Review incoming counterparty documents and confirm template accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between client and firm trade bookings.
- Follow up on legal confirmation execution and trade matching.
- Escalate outstanding high-risk trades to senior leadership.
- Support cross-functional efforts including compliance, sales, and legal to enhance execution and onboarding.
- Participate in enhancements, process improvements, and industry initiatives.
- Contribute to reporting, metrics, and compliance strategy development.
- Maintain operational and reputational risk controls while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Top Skills & Qualifications:
- Risk Management & Derivative Operations – Understanding of risk, controls, and life cycle of derivative transactions.
- Trade Documentation & ISDA Agreements – Familiarity with derivatives legal documentation and booking systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Client Service – Ability to work across teams and engage directly with institutional clients.
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Excel (strong proficiency required)
- Experience in analyzing quantitative data and presenting findings
- Trade platform familiarity and electronic confirmation systems a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
