Senior Workday Product Owner Workday Payroll
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
W2 hourly rate: Upto 65$
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Lead Product Owner Workday Payroll to support the Human Resources (HR) Transformation & Products Team. In this role, you will collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop and execute solutions for complex payroll-related challenges. You will be responsible for shaping the US Payroll product vision, roadmap, and solution delivery while driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Strategic consultant for complex business and technical needs within Product Management.
- Develop and implement initiatives that drive efficiency and transformation in Workday Payroll.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify challenges, recommend solutions, and influence decision-making.
- Lead product vision, roadmap development, and execution for US Payroll solutions.
- Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on innovative payroll and HR product solutions.
- Engage with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Use Agile methodologies to manage product backlog, prioritize features, and drive iterative improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of Product Management experience or equivalent experience (consulting, training, military, or education).
- Expertise in Workday Payroll, with experience supporting US and Canadian payroll operations.
- Proven ability to lead and influence teams in a matrixed environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with HR transformation projects.
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory aspects of US and Canadian payroll.
