STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING!
Title: Sr. Web Developer
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid/onsite 1 day per week)
Duration: 7 Months
Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement
SUMMARY
Responsible for the development, testing and implementation of complex web solutions using JavaScript frameworks for client website, mobile application and secured portals. Ensures designs comply with organizational standards. Serves as consultant for department on web projects and mentors web designers and non-technical team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides technical leadership and mentors web designers on technical issues and best practices. Leads research activities to implement new web technologies and provide ideas for technical or business improvements.
- Monitors and delivers key performance indicator reports of site and campaign activity to drive the ongoing development and optimization of compelling web content in order to increase traffic and time on site, drive product sales and increase registrant opt-ins for loyalty and retention programs.
- Develops and maintains the client internet website and secured portals. Designs front-end web solutions and performs testing and implementation. Provides technical support with the integration of front-end HTML, CSS and JavaScript design deliverables to the back-end development deliverables in conjunction with IT.
- Develops prototypes and mock-ups to help develop, demonstrate, and validate business requirements to ensure all stakeholders understand what will be built and to help identify potential issues early in the project.
- Participates in quality assurance and UAT testing and monitoring automated tools to improve and maintain quality standards. Assists in gathering and documenting business requirements, developing prototypes and formulating test plans. Supports Content Management System publishing tools in conjunction with IT teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Expert proficiency in all of the following: HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON.
- Competency preferred in the following: Angular 5 , React, Typescript, Lodash, Adobe Experience Manager Bootstrap CSS, NodeJS, NPM.
- Demonstrated ability to develop websites that work across multiple browsers and platforms.
- Working knowledge of online marketing tactics, industry trends and user behavior including search, email and social networking platforms. Working knowledge of user experience and content management systems.
- Ability to work closely with management and business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into creative technical solutions that address company goals.
- Three (3) or more years of web related software development experience.
EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
