We are seeking a strategic and analytical Part-Time CFO to support our growing IT and staffing services business. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning & Advisory
- Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO and executive team, offering guidance on growth strategies, market expansion, and operational efficiencies.
- Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of new projects, client contracts, or service offerings.
- Contribute to strategic planning for scaling service delivery and managing variable workforce costs.
Budgeting, Forecasting & KPI Management
- Lead the development and oversight of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
- Establish benchmarks for financial performance such as utilization rates, revenue per consultant, and client profitability.
- Build and maintain financial dashboards and performance tracking reports.
Cash Flow & Treasury Oversight
- Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for payroll, contractor payments, and operating expenses.
- Forecast cash needs based on seasonality, billing cycles, and project timelines.
- Optimize vendor and banking relationships to support financial health.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry-specific tax obligations, and financial regulations.
- Oversee audit processes and manage relationships with external accountants and auditors.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize risk, especially in timesheet reporting and payroll disbursements.
Team Collaboration & Financial Operations
- Support or oversee the finance and accounting function (internal or outsourced).
- Streamline financial processes related to contractor payments, client billing, and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior financial role within IT services, consulting, or staffing.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
