Job Description : IT Networking Construction Specialist
Our client is seeking a skilled IT Networking Construction Specialist with both a technical and construction background to assist in a variety of projects. This is an 18 month temp-to-perm role on our client’s W-2 , requiring on-site presence 5 days a week in Scottsdale, AZ . You will be working directly with the General Contractor (GC) and the Construction Project Manager to review construction plans, perform site inspections, and assist with key project tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review Construction Plans : Assess project documentation and ensure technical requirements are met.
- Site Inspections : Conduct regular inspections to verify the construction aligns with technical specifications.
- Coordinate with the GC and Project Manager : Assist with questions, RFIs, submittal reviews, and ensure as-built documents are accurate.
- Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) Equipment : Oversee and manage the installation of OFCI equipment, including developing rack face drawings and floorplans.
- Patching Ports & Equipment Installation : Assist with the activation of ports and physical relocation of equipment into the facility.
- Coordinate Owner Furnished Owner Installed (OFOI) Equipment : Support the installation and coordination of OFOI equipment.
