About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Server & Automation Engineer to lead automation efforts, optimize server infrastructure, and ensure the reliability and performance of critical IT systems. This position plays a key role in streamlining operations by developing automation workflows, managing server environments, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
What You ll Do:
- Automation & Orchestration: Design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Orchestrator workflows and PowerShell scripts to automate routine IT tasks.
- Server & Infrastructure Management: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Windows and VMware environments in a 24/7 datacenter.
- Project Leadership: Oversee IT automation projects, ensuring efficiency and compliance with best practices.
- Security & Compliance: Implement system updates, security patches, and compliance controls, including SOX processes.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, provide training on automation tools, and support production environments.
What You Bring:
6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on automation and server management.
Expertise in Microsoft Orchestrator, PowerShell scripting, and automation tools.
Strong background in Windows Server, VMware, storage, and backup solutions.
Knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, VPNs, and security protocols).
Experience supporting manufacturing or 24/7 datacenter environments is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
