Duration: 3-Months Contract to hire
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician II to provide technical assistance and support for CompuCom/ GE VERNOVA's employees. As a key member of our team at Strategic-Systems, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating hardware and software issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Educate users on best practices and software usage
- Document and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and software applications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
