Duration : 6 weeks (Possibility of extension)
Shift : Tuesday to Saturday 8-5 pm
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Inventory Specialist to join our team for a temporary assignment. This role will involve managing and tracking IT assets to ensure that all equipment and inventory are properly accounted for and documented. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform a comprehensive audit of IT inventory, including hardware, software, and accessories.
- Label and tag new or unaccounted-for IT equipment.
- Update and maintain accurate records in inventory management systems or spreadsheets.
- Assist with tracking the movement of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation of all changes.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or missing items.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding inventory statuses.
- Ensure compliance with organizational processes and procedures for inventory management.
- Provide status reports and updates as requested by management.
