Nurse Practitioner
Location: Hope, Indiana
Our client, an Ambulatory/ Outpatient Primary care office, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality Primary Care to patients of all ages, but mainly adults and adolescents, with some younger pediatric patients in their Hope, Indiana location.

What does a typical day look like in this role?
Care plan development, direct patient care, and medical exams are the key tasks for this role and are performed daily. On an ongoing basis, as the Practitioner, you will continually be reviewing and modifying patients' Care Plans throughout the course of their treatment, managing medical and surgical emergencies. This is a collaborative role, where you will work with other practitioners and support staff, including, but not limited to Nurses, Physicians, and other APPs.
Patients are often seen onsite, but some telehealth and phone triaging may be performed, as needed. Flexibility is key, as this is a Primary Care office, and patients are often connecting with you before taking any next steps related to their health and or health emergencies. Referrals to nearby hospitals and local resources could be part of your assessment.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school and Nurse Practitioner program.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with certification by a recognized organization (e.g., AANP).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ambulatory or primary care setting required.
- Active nursing license in Indiana and current CME compliance.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic software like Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Bilingual Spanish English, preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities in brief:
- Conduct medical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop care plans.
- Provide preventative care, administer treatments, and manage minor procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and resources.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday schedule, with 4 days focused on direct patient care & 1 day administrative.
- On-call, with rotating schedule.
Salary
All wages are based on relevant years of experience.
Base Compensation
$120,000-$130,000 annually.
