Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environment, Health and Safety Manager located in Millford, MA. The role will involve managing health & safety programs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting occupational health assessments, investigating accidents, and providing training to staff.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage health, safety, and environmental compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
• Ensure compliance with license and permit requirements, including air quality, wastewater, hazardous waste, and stormwater pollution prevention.
• Promote a strong HSE culture through training, awareness programs, and engagement initiatives.
• Advise employees, supervisors, and managers on HSE compliance and best practices.
• Conduct facility audits and inspections in laboratory and manufacturing environments.
• Perform job hazard analyses and personal protective equipment assessments.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action documentation.
• Administer industrial hygiene surveys, biosafety, hearing conservation, and respiratory protection programs.
• Deliver HSE training and maintain training records.
• Oversee safety programs at distribution and innovation lab facilities.
• Lead site-specific HSE initiatives aligned with regional and global safety objectives.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.
