Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Environment, Health and Safety Manager located in Millford, MA. The role will involve managing health & safety programs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting occupational health assessments, investigating accidents, and providing training to staff.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage health, safety, and environmental compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
- Ensure compliance with license and permit requirements, including air quality, wastewater, hazardous waste, and stormwater pollution prevention.
- Promote a strong HSE culture through training, awareness programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Advise employees, supervisors, and managers on HSE compliance and best practices.
- Conduct facility audits and inspections in laboratory and manufacturing environments.
- Perform job hazard analyses and personal protective equipment assessments.
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action documentation.
- Administer industrial hygiene surveys, biosafety, hearing conservation, and respiratory protection programs.
- Deliver HSE training and maintain training records.
- Oversee safety programs at distribution and innovation lab facilities.
- Lead site-specific HSE initiatives aligned with regional and global safety objectives.
- Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.
