Inside Sales Specialist - Generator Service
The Inside Sales Specialist will play a key role in the sales operations of our Generator Service Department.
This role will work closely with our Territory Sales Managers, coordinating requests for proposals (RFP), while managing contract entry, work order creation, and navigating client portals.
The ideal candidate excels in a high-volume team environment, demonstrates exceptional time management, has excellent communication and a passion to support our customers and technicians.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working in closely with our Territory Sales Managers in the preparation and submission of Preventative Maintenance and Repair contract proposals and requests for quotes from our customers
- Entry and creation of customer records and equipment information in our customer relationship management (CRM) and field service software
- Work closely with technical staff to ensure that customer pricing is accurate and fair
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with Territory Sales to develop and implement strategies to increase service volume and profitability.
- Efficiently manage a high volume of sales inquiries, proposals, and contracts in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactively communicates with customers to ensure we are timely and provide the highest level of support.
- Coordinate requests for support with internal stakeholders during the contract review process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services scheduled, and client feedback
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively
Skills/Knowledge
- Some knowledge of field services, maintenance contracts, and mechanical/electrical preferred.
- Strong background in customer support, quoting and proposal creation.
- Ability to gather information quickly, communicate next steps and status, and inspire confidence.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage high volumes of work efficiently.
- Maintains confidentiality, keeps emotions under control, approaches others tactfully, works with honesty, integrity, and ethics.

Qualifications
- Experience in inside sales or similar role, preferably within the generator service or industrial services industry.
- Strong background with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Travel and hours expectations:
Office hours as required to serve all internal and external stakeholders appx. M-F, 7am - 4pm.
Limited to no travel.
