Job Overview
STi is seeking two (2) Engineer Analyst/Trainers to support the ADAM/BAE Cell Air‑to‑Ground Integration course for the 30th ADA Brigade. You will develop and execute complex radar/airspace simulations, perform “white cell” operations, and maintain course support systems to prepare Officers, Warrant Officers, and Enlisted personnel for real‑world combat scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and run multi‑radar simulations (SIMPLE, RES, JREAP‑C, VMF) to generate joint and local air pictures (AWACS, Sentinel, Q‑36/37, LCMR, RAM, TBM, etc.).
- Operate dynamic injection tools for rockets, artillery, mortars, and aerial platforms, integrating with ADSI and FAADC2 systems.
- Perform White Cell functions, interacting with students during practical exercises, vignettes, and CAPSTONE events.
- Create and manage digital scenario materials (maps, DTED, OPTASKLINK, FRAGOs, AMRs, student guides, etc.).
- Maintain and update course IT infrastructure: internal websites, email, DNS, Symantec AV, chat servers, Mission Command Suite, and backup servers.
- Configure and support Cisco switches/routers (7 devices) for training networks.
- Support WOBC/WOES/AIT courses (14G/14H MOS) with network management and sustainment.
- Assess and integrate new simulation technologies to enhance training capability.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years of combined experience with Sentinel radar, ADAM, and ADAM/BAE operations (Bachelor’s in IT or Computer Systems Engineering may substitute 2 yrs).
- Demonstrated systems‑engineering support on UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.
- Proficient in Cisco switch/router configuration and network management.
- Experience generating VMF (6017A) AFATDS fires solutions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Prior experience in Army battle‑lab or Army‑run training environments
- Experience administering Symantec Endpoint Protection in tactical networks
- Cisco networking certifications (CCNA or higher)
- Familiarity with internal web/DNS/email systems and backup server management
