Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, network architectures, and security protocols, with expertise in JQUERY, ASP.NET, VisualBasic.net, AJAX, and MS-SQL. The purpose of this contract is to support Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Support Equipment (SE) systems, subsystems, and component testing at the Naval Air Warfare Center Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) Prototype, Manufacturing and Test Department (PMTD), aboard ship, and other naval activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Update and enhance existing software capabilities.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and define performance requirements.
- Maintain and develop databases within application areas, working individually or as part of a team.
