STi is seeking Systems Engineers - COMMAND AND CONTROL PROCESSOR (C2P) MODERNIZATION (MOD) SOFTWARE ENGINEERING SERVICES (SES)
C2P Mod is a software development effort that leverages the existing CLIP architecture and is intended to deliver the same functionality and capabilities as the current C2P Tech Refresh system with additional enhancements, such as Link 22 Data Link Processor (DLP) functionalities, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Interface Change Proposals (ICPs), Communication as a Service (CAAS), and Cybersecurity requirements. Currently, CLIP supports a Common Host Interface (CHI) and terminal interfaces for Link-16, Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP) A and JREAP C, but has architecture to support additional data links such as Link 22.
With demonstrated Systems engineering and software development experience using C/C in support of tactical C2 or C2P systems and Tactical Data Links, such as Satellite Tactical Digital Information Links (S-TADIL J), Link-16, Link 22, Joint Range Extension Application Protocol A/C (JREAP-A/C).
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate expertise in Open Systems Architecture (OSA), Overmatch (OM), and NAVWAR Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I) software development activities
Perform troubleshooting, conduct cybersecurity reviews, support Risk Assessment and Issue Evaluation (RAISE), integrate applications, develop documentation, conduct software testing, and implement cross-domain solutions
Lead fleet engagement and training initiatives, including in-person interactions, briefings, and customer support
Collaborate with fleet stakeholders, Warfighter Development Centers (WDCs), tool developers, and senior advisory leads to ensure tools address mission gaps effectively
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM-related field
Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience
Previous experience with Program Manager, Warfare (PMW) software projects
Proficiency in technical program management, including cost, schedule, and performance aspects
Experience in Navy acquisition support, particularly in digital transformation initiatives
Demonstrated experience engaging with fleet stakeholders across various domains
Subject matter expertise in Navy Operational Architecture
Excellent communication skills
