Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Communications Coordination Specialist to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience writing speeches and talking points for senior military leaders, as well as drafting and editing executive summaries, information papers, and other key documents to prepare them for high-level meetings with DoD, interagency, and international partners. The selected candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in order to effectively support senior leaders at Combatant and Major Command levels.
Requirements :
The Communications Coordination Specialist will :
- Develop accurate, timely preparatory content, ensuring alignment with policy and direction, and maintaining a standard that reflects senior-level command expectations.
- Create or refine high-level written materials such as executive summaries, presentations, talking points, information papers, itineraries, and other essential documents, ensuring they meet the standards of communication at the Combatant Command level and beyond.
- Facilitate effective coordination of tasks across the Command and external teams.
- Deliver written materials that are precise, policy-compliant, and in line with the client’s strategic messaging.
- Provide expert knowledge and deep understanding across various service areas, joint missions, processes, and organizational culture.
- Leverage advanced consulting abilities and technical expertise to craft innovative solutions for complex challenges.
- Operate with minimal supervision while mentoring and guiding team members.
