Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Records Management Specialist to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is a flexible multitasker, possesses excellent communication skills, and demonstrates strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of taking initiative to solve problems.
Responsibilities :
- Provide analytical and administrative support for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Command's records management program, including establishing standardized systems and procedures for organizing records and materials across various formats
- Demonstrate expertise in records management, document scanning and preservation, document management software, and workflow management systems
- Create and maintain an efficient filing and retrieval system
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and various database software applications
- Effectively organize, prioritize, and manage tasks to ensure timely and efficient completion within established deadlines
- Demonstrate knowledge of administering an electronic document management system, particularly in SharePoint
- Understand and apply the Department of Defense (DOD) records management program, related policies, regulations, and procedures
- Develop and deliver briefings to inform Command personnel on records management policies, procedures, and best practices
- Take initiative in carrying out various analytical and administrative tasks related to the planning and execution of the Command's records management program
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the Commander's Cyber Mission priorities
