Strategies to Empower People is looking to hire a full-time Program Director for our Traditional and Enhanced Supported Living Services programs! This position will provide program direction and coordination for our community-based supported living services and behavioral & medical supported living services programs in the Napa, Santa Rosa, and Fairfield regions!

WHAT IS THE JOB?
The Program Director reports the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the implementation of program design, program objectives AND program success for our traditional and behavioral/medical supported living services programs in the North Bay region!
This position works alongside a team of Managers and field staff to provide services for the Intellectual and/or Developmentally Disabled (I/DD) adults our agency serves. The Program Director is responsible for the entirety of our North Bay unit which includes maintaining compliance with external regulations and internal policies and procedures as well as being responsible for a variety of processes including client intake, assessments and referrals, transition planning, Person-Centered Active Support principles, individualized support planning (ISPs), quality assurance for the individuals supported by the programs, program billing, scheduling of work and staffing, staff training and performance, and overall success of the program.
SCHEDULE
The Program Director position is a salaried exempt role which is on-call Monday through Friday and may be responsible for occasional weekend on-call coverage. Please note that this is not a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. position! The Program Director is one of the last lines of supervision for our agency and needs to be an accessible resource for our clients, supervisory team, and our field staff!
The rate of pay for this position is $76,960-$81,120 annually based on relevant, verifiable experience.
LOCATION
This position operates out of our Napa office location which is located at 935 Clinton Street in Napa, 94559. This is not an office-only position! The expectation for the Program Director is to be on-site and available to support our clients in Solano, Sonoma and Napa counties!
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Program Director position requires:
- Minimum five (5) years' experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities as well as a comprehensive understanding of the developmental disability system AND the Medi-Cal system.
- At least two (2) years supervisory experience and two (2) years of budgetary/finance experience. Supervisory experience means supervising staff/subordinates, NOT supervising clients!
- Experience working with clients who have high behavioral and medical challenges, including people with dual diagnosis.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent. A Master's in a related field (Education, Psychology, Social Work, etc.) is preferred.
Eligible candidates will have experience with MAPS/PATHS and Circles of Supports for development of Individual Support Plans (ISP's).
We support and employ several deaf or hard of hearing individuals so possessing AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) skills is a huge PLUS!
Being a licensed and insured driver is necessary for this role, which includes having a clean driving record (no excessive points, and no DUIs/wet-and-reckless in the past 10 years). We provide mileage reimbursement at a rate of $.70 per mile.
