Skilled Nursing Facility is Now Hiring a Unit Clerk.
This position is an administrative role and would include varied duties such as:
- Filing and data entry
- Typing reports & correspondence as required
- Assisting with the admissions / discharge process,
- Assisting with transportation approvals & schedules
- Relaying vital information to Nursing Staff & Medical Team
- Maintain medical records as per protocol, file medical charts as required
- Provide unit staff with employee manuals & forms
- Inventories unit/office supplies & performs all other related duties
Candidates should:
- Be friendly, patient and reliable and embody our value for customer service
- Be pleasant with a great phone manner & strong computer skills
- Be solid in organizational and communication skills
- Have the ability to multi-task in high-pressure environment
- Be experienced working in a medical setting
- Be knowledgeable in medical terminology and ICD10 coding
- Have some pharmacology experience
