JOB SUMMARY:

The Emergency Medical Technician will provide essential medical support and care to male patients, primarily focusing on men’s sexual health. EMT’s will assist healthcare providers, conduct initial patient assessments, and help maintain a high level of clinical care and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct initial assessments, including obtaining vital signs and complete a patient physical.

· Review relevant medical histories of the patient.

· Assist healthcare providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants) during examinations and procedures.

· Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

· Assist in diagnostic procedures such as blood draws.

· Provide basic life support (BLS).

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date medial records of patient interactions.

· Ensure compliance with confidentiality protocols and maintain patient privacy in all situations.

· Monitor the stock of medical supplies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

· Completion of an accredited EMT program and current certification.

· Current BLS certification and a (State) EMT license.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when discussing sensitive topics related to sexual health.

· Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.

· Able to listen, identify a need, and offer a solution to a potential patient.

· Self-motivated and a team player.
