Job Details
Title: Scrum master
Juno Beach/Miami, FL Local only
$40/Hr on W2
$48/Hr on C2C
Work Location: On-Site (Juno Beach/Miami) - No Exception (5 days a week in-office as per Federal mandate)
Excellent Communication Skill (American Ascent would be good but not mandatory)
Have to work with a client who is a PhD and extremely technical. It need help in execution and planning.
Technical skills:
- Excellent communication skills, ability to coordinate with the project team, stakeholder, internal technical/infrastructure team & lead team.
- Experience with using both SDLC and Agile methodology to deliver large and fast paced projects.
- Experience tracking and running projects in Jira to - organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, PI Planning & release planning.
- Proficient with using Atlassian Jira (JQL) /Confluence tool to prepare product implementation roadmap (using Initiatives, epics, structure), metrics & delivery results. Ability to work with the internal Atlassian team to implement and groom Jira boards with complex requirement.
- Coaches team members and stakeholders for scrum ceremonies, agile estimation techniques, writing of value-driven user stories, features, and epics, and maintains a well-refined backlog
- As a Scrum Master keep informed and educated about industry trends concerning Agile methodologies
- Experience with software development lifecycle for COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) Product Implementation & Integration, experience with project management and offshore/onsite team management
- Experience with managing large projects through - Analysis, Design, Application Development/Configuration & Quality control Team Management & Coordination all the way to system cutover/deployment/
implementation - Experience with planning and managing releases: Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Scheduling, Facilitating Scrums & Backlog grooming till production release and support.
- Strong experience & understanding (from a planning task and deliverable perspective) of:
- Building application integrations & data conversion,
- System & Application testing (Unit, System Integration, Conversion, Performance & Unit Testing) for managing & planning releases with the Project Technical Team (Tech Leads/ Developers/ DBA/ Tech. Administrators) and the Project Business Team (Product Owner, Business Analyst, Testers & Stakeholder).
- Infrastructure deployments: understanding of application environments & migrations (from one environment to another)
