Job description
Security Guard Team Leaders supervise a team of security guards that ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, contractors, or client facilities with the security of property and assets. Security Guard Team Leaders assign guards to patrol and inspect buildings and grounds. Team Leaders ensure guards can ensure protection from intruders, theft, and vandalism. Team Leaders may be required to work remotely, so they should be able to think independently.
Responsibilities:
- To respond to and attend as necessary any incidents involving security or safety of premises or staff, and to initiate appropriate actions
- To know whom to call if an incident were to occur, such as SOC, GSOC, or your Project Management in accordance with the policies and procedures.
- Use of computer, radio, and mobile systems for access control, site patrolling, and all other standard security duties
- Efficient skills in managing a team
- Excellent communication skills and computer literate
- Assist project management in achieving complete security tasks by following company policies and procedures
- Set an example for team members of commitment, security knowledge, work ethics and habits, and personal character
- Maintain accurate records for Project Management reports
Candidates shall have/possess or be able to possess the following:
- Armed security guard license
- Reliable transportation
- Basic Tablet/Smart Phone Applications Skills
- Clean Criminal Background
- Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- Able to withstand all types of weather (hot, cold, rain, etc.)
- Must have the ability to pick up to 50lbs
- For this position, you must be over 21 years of age. Do you meet this age requirement?
- Have a valid TWIC card-REQUIRED at time of interview
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off, 12-hour shifts, days 5am-5pm, nights 5pm-5am
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Team Leader/Manager: 2 years (Preferred)
- Armed Security Guard/Corrections: 1 year (Preferred)
- Law Enforcement: 1 year (Preferred)
- Military: 3 years (Preferred)
- IT: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certifications
- Unexpired Driver's License (Required)

Benefit Conditions: Only Full-Time-time employees are eligible for company benefits (after 60 days of employment). The first 90 days of your employment will be under a probationary period. Individuals seeking to work a normal run-of-mill security job need not apply as only performers will be considered for future promotions.
