Position: Armed Security Specialist
Location: Cameron, LA
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor and secure entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
- Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and compliance with security protocols.
- Reporting: Utilize digital platforms to complete equipment checklists and document incidents accurately.
- Communication: Maintain hourly check-ins via radio and promptly report any security concerns.
- Training: Participate in mandatory ongoing physical and mental training programs to uphold SDI's security standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensing: Possess a valid armed security guard license. (Preferred)
- Transportation: Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic tablet and smartphone applications.
- Background: Maintain a clean criminal record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, traverse long distances, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Weather Resilience: Capable of working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Age Requirement: Must be over 21 years of age.
- TWIC Card: Hold a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) at the time of the interview.
Preferred Experience:
- Armed Security or Corrections: Minimum of 1 year (REQUIRED).
- Law Enforcement: At least 1 year. (Preferred)
- Military Service: A minimum of 3 years.(Preferred)
- Information Technology: 1 year.(Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year.(Preferred)
Certifications:
- Driver's License: Valid and unexpired.(REQUIRED)
- Louisiana Armed Guard Card: Preferred.
- Motor Vehicle Report: Clean driving record required.
Employment Details:
- Type: Full-time position.
- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour shifts. Day and night shifts available.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
- Probation Period: Initial 90 days.
- Benefits: Eligible after 60 days of employment.
