Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor and secure entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
- Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and compliance with security protocols.
- Reporting: Utilize digital platforms to complete equipment checklists and document incidents accurately.
- Communication: Maintain hourly check-ins via radio and promptly report any security concerns.
- Independent Operation: Work autonomously, especially in remote settings, to uphold security standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensing: Possess a valid unarmed security guard license.
- Transportation: Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic tablet and smartphone applications.
- Background: Maintain a clean criminal record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, traverse long distances, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Weather Resilience: Capable of working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed positions; 21 or older for armed roles or to operate company vehicles.
- TWIC Card: Hold a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or be eligible to obtain one before the start date.
Preferred Experience:
- Security or Corrections: Minimum of 1 year in security or corrections.
- Law Enforcement: At least 1 year of experience.
- Military Service: A minimum of 3 years of service.
- Information Technology: 1 year of relevant experience.
- Customer Service: 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
Certifications:
- Driver's License: Valid and unexpired.
- Louisiana Guard Card: Preferred but not mandatory.
- Motor Vehicle Report: Clean driving record required for patrol positions.
Employment Details:
- Type: Full-time position.
- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, with 12-hour shifts.
- Probation Period: Initial 90 days.
- Benefits: Eligible after 60 days of employment.
