What are the responsibilities and job description for the Router Operator position at Stratis Industries?
Our manufacturing company is looking for a RouterOperatorto run one of our CNC machines and help to enhance the productivity of our organization. The successful candidate will perform work quality checks and monitor machine output each hour. This candidate will also possess problem solving skills, have a strong work ethic and be a reliable addition to our team. Experience with CNC machines, edge banding, and wood shop backgrounds is preferred, but not required. This is a Full Time Position and benefits will be available after 60 days.
CNC Operator Responsibilities
- Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
- Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects
- Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company
- Follow all company safety protocol
- Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift
- Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions
- Some lifting restrictions
Desired Router Operator Skills
- High school diploma/GED required
- 1 years’ Router Operator experience qualifies for a higher wage
- Experience using production machinery is desired
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and operation is desired
- Strong basic math skills are desired
- History of working with gauges and calipers is desired
