We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our team. Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating and facilitating medical materiel fielding processes at military installations. The Logistics Analyst acts as the primary point of contact between the logistics program and Army medical unit personnel, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery, setup, and support of medical equipment and supplies. The Logistics Analyst also provides technical expertise, training, and on-site problem resolution, while also maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant Army, DoD and FDA regulations and standards.

Key Tasks:

  • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for materiel fielding activities, coordinating with unit personnel, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the delivery, receipt, and unpacking of medical equipment and supplies at the designated location.
  • Provide technical expertise and hands-on support for the setup, operation, and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Conduct training sessions for unit personnel on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fielded equipment.
  • Respond to and resolve technical issues and equipment malfunctions, escalating complex problems to higher-level support, as necessary.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of equipment and supplies, ensuring they meet all standards and specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including receipt reports, inspection records, training logs, and discrepancy reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Army Regulations (ARs), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), and other relevant standards (ISO 9001:2015).
  • Communicate regularly with the MFSS team and provide updates on fielding progress, challenges, and issues.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers for the movement of equipment and supplies, resolving any delays or delivery problems.
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying and reporting potential risks or issues at the on-site location.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvement based on on-site experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, medical materiel management, or a related field, with on-site support experience preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Excellent training and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, logistics management systems, and data entry.
  • Knowledge of regulations related to materiel management.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Required security clearance
  • Ability to travel to various locations in and out of the U.S.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Technical expertise in medical equipment and supplies, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent training and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, logistics management systems, and data entry.
  • Knowledge of regulations related to logistics management.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.

Performance Objectives:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient delivery, setup, and support of equipment and supplies at the assigned location.
  • Provide high-quality training and technical assistance to unit personnel, resulting in effective equipment utilization.
  • Resolve technical issues and equipment malfunctions promptly, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including receipt reports, inspection records, and discrepancy reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates to include challenges and issues.
  • Effectively coordinate with transportation providers, resolving any delays or delivery problems.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts by providing feedback and recommendations based on on-site experiences.
