💡 About the Role:
As Principal Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take the lead in designing complex, system-level architectures for innovative energy storage solutions—from a blank slate to field-ready products. You’ll work in a collaborative, supportive environment where your ideas are valued, and your professional growth is prioritized.
🛠️ What You’ll Do:
🔹 Develop architecture designs with an integration-first approach
🔹 Create 3D CAD models, assembly drawings, and bill of materials
🔹 Lead design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews, ensuring efficiency and sustainability
🔹 Support failure analyses and FMEA development with a solution-oriented mindset
🔹 Build strong partnerships with OEMs, vendors, manufacturers, and key suppliers
🔹 Ensure designs meet safety and compliance standards (including UL certification)
🧩 What They’re Looking For:
✔ 5-10 years of mechanical design experience in energy storage, power products, or comparable complex multi-physical systems
✔ Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (3D printers, CNC machines, etc.)
✔ Expertise in enclosure design, thermal management, and manufacturability processes
✔ Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
