What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Machine Learning Scientist position at Strativ Group?
We are currently building a ML Science team for a well-backed AI startup in SF who are building an multi-purpose AI Agent for Enterprise orgs.
The business are backed by some of the Silicon Valley's leading VCs and have a string of impressive advisors including top professors from Stanford . The business is led by ex-VPs from Uber, as well as top ICs from Scale AI & Nuro and they have a strong research-first approach to building.
Within ML Science, you will apply SOTA Research to the product, and will also be heavily involved in the direction of their product, driving critical technical decisions. The role will see you bridge Data / Applied Science & Engineering and will have a heavy focus on both Traditional and Modern ML.
Key experience required :
- 3 Years' experience in Data Science, Applied Science and / or Research Science - focus on applying SOTA ML to commercial products
- PhD of MS in a relevant field - Mathematics, Software Engineering, CS, AI etc.
- Strong exp. in 1 or 2 of; Time Series / AutoML / Tree-based Models / Feature Engineering
- Financial Services domain exp (bonus)
- Exp with LLM Agents (bonus)
