Summary of Responsibilities
Paint Technician/Maintenance personnel are responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting an automated painting line. They ensure the proper functioning of the painting system and related equipment while maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to safety procedures.
Pay: $23.00/hour
Essential Job Function
- Operate and monitor automated painting line machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on spray systems, conveyors, and robotic painting arms.
- Inspect finished products for quality control and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues with painting equipment.
- Maintain inventory of paint supplies, spare parts, and tools.
- Ensure proper calibration of paint guns and automated sprayers for consistent coating.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety and environmental regulations.
- Document maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Adhere to all Stratosphere Quality safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience in industrial painting systems and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of automated machinery and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move 65lb equipment and parts repeatedly.
- Standing for long periods.
- Full range of motion required for reaching, bending, and lifting.
Work Conditions:
- Work is performed in a fast-paced production environment.
- Exposure to paint fumes and chemicals (with proper PPE provided).
- Work is labor-intensive and requires repetitive lifting and movement.
