Production Repair Associate
Pallet Repair technicians are responsible for sorting and repairing returned pallets. The technician must learn and memorize the Stratosphere Quality pallet specification and ensure that all pallets leaving their worktable meet it. Pallets that do not meet the specifications must be repaired.
Pay: $23.00/hour
Compensation & Performance Review: This position follows a merit-based pay increase structure. Employees will receive a minimum starting wage, with the potential to earn up to $4 in additional pay every six months, based on individual performance.
Essential Job Function
- Sort pallets by lifting them onto the worktable and inspecting them from the top, bottom, and sides.
- Replace any defective components on the pallet using the supplied tools. These tools include pneumatic nailers, reciprocating saws, and angle grinders.
- Restock lumber and keep the workstation clean and organized throughout the day.
- Memorize pallet specifications and ensure all pallets processed meet those specifications.
- Clean or report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all Stratosphere Quality safety policies and procedures for the depot and your role.
