Job Description
We are a large and respected OBGYN group practice in Palm Beach County, Florida, with over 150 employees and more than 30 physicians. Our team consists of 30 OBGYN physicians, 3 Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists, Uro/Gyn, GYN/ONC, and Repro/Endo physicians.
About the Role
We are seeking OBGYN physicians and MFM specialists to join our group. The ideal candidate will be an OBGYN generalist or hospitalist physician with experience in both OB and GYN surgery.
Responsibilities
- The Laborist/Hybrid will be responsible for 6 24-hour in-house calls per month, with a post-call day off and up to 3 office days weekly, performing a mix of OB and GYN surgeries.
- They will work with 10 OBGYN physicians and 2 mid-level providers at this location, handling 12-15 deliveries per month.
This is a full-time position that involves OB and GYN responsibilities, with allocated surgery time.
Opportunities
- Generalist Position:
- The generalist will work out of 1-2 offices and 1 hospital, taking call and getting exposure to a good mix of OB and GYN cases.
- They will have opportunities to mentor while scrubbing with other physicians.
- When on call, the physician will be at the hospital, not seeing patients in the office.
- MFM Position:
- The MFM specialist will work with 3 other board-certified MFMs to cover high-risk patients.
- They will see patients with multiples, a history of preterm labor, or those with genetic disorders.
- The practice offers genetic testing, amnios, high-definition US (3D/4D), and pediatric subspecialty support through the Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center.
