Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry work, including building, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures, furniture, doors, windows, etc., as directed.
- Operate associated power and hand tools and equipment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resort work orders and emergencies.
- Keep accurate records of service and repairs.
- Research and purchase necessary equipment, tools, parts, wood, chemicals, and supplies.
- Train and direct the work of other staff in the area.
- Assist and serve as backup to other Facilities employees.
- Support department standards, policies, and work practices for staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Technical Diploma, associate degree, or two years of college coursework are preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of related experience are necessary.
