Job Overview
COLD ENVIRONMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED !!! We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Order Selectors to join our dynamic warehouse team. The Order Selector will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment by efficiently picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity while working in a fast-paced environment.MUST OPERATE THE FORKLIFT REACH!
Duties
- Accurately pick orders from designated locations within the warehouse using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring that all products are protected during transit.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy and report discrepancies as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and responsibly (training may be provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in FREEZER/FRIDGE warehouse or distribution center is REQUIRED.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking are beneficial.
