Stratum Networks is a rapidly growing information assurance and cybersecurity solutions company that provides high-end network and security consulting to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients. We are looking for a talented and passionate candidate who would support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Job Description:

Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Linux administration experience, knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, works well in a small team setting, has a desire to automate processes where possible, and a willingness to think outside the box to find solutions.
Required skills:
Experience performing Linux server administration tasks including configuring, patching, monitoring, trouble shooting, etc
Experienced with one or more of the following scripting languages:
Python
Perl
Bash
PowerShell
Experience with automating repetitive tasks with Bash and Python scripts
Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies
Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners
Desired skills:
Experience with Puppet and Ansible
Experience with AWS EC2 Auto Scaling
Experience with aws-cli and boto3
Salary: $104k - $195k depending on experience and contract.

REQUIREMENTS:
Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II
