Lead Accountant – Stratum Central Office
Location: 27375 SW Parkway Ave., Wilsonville, OR 97070
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually
Classification: Exempt, not eligible for overtime pay

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
- Lead and support Accountants and Accounting Assistants in meeting financial reporting and compliance standards.
- Oversee financial reporting including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and all applicable regulations.
- Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Coordinate internal audit processes and support tax and compliance reporting.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Optimize accounting software systems (Yardi preferred) and integrate workflows.

Job Requirements
- Property management accounting experience is required
- Hands-on Yardi experience is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Job Conditions
- This position is based at Stratum’s Central Office in Wilsonville, Oregon. The Lead Accountant is required to perform all duties on-site and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
- Standard office environment with occasional travel for training or meetings.
- Must be able to work extended hours during peak financial reporting periods.
- Regular use of computers, office equipment, and financial reporting tools.
