Responsibilities
- Analyze chemical compounds or substances.
- Test quality of materials or finished products.
- Ability to follow set Standard Testing Procedures.
- Maintain laboratory or technical equipment.
- Prepare compounds or solutions for products or testing.
- Develop Chromatography test methods via HPLC and GC.
- Revise test methods as needed
- Ability to interpret USP methods and follow them when conducting material or product testing.
- Establish standards for products, processes, or procedures.
- Prepare scientific or technical reports or presentations.
- Collaborate on research activities with scientists or technical specialists.
- Establish testing specifications for new and/or reformulated product.
- Write technical papers and reports; and prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests.
- Other tasks as assigned by Management.
Knowledge
- Working knowledge of HPLC
- Working knowledge of GC
- Working knowledge of FTIR
- Working knowledge of Purified water testing through filtration.
- Working knowledge of other essential lab equipment and tests methods.
Education
B.S. in Chemistry 1 - 3 years Experience
Must possess working knowledge of HPLC, UV-Vis, Dissolution Apparatus and TLC principles.
