Austin Brockenbrough and Associates, LLC . is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our office in Richmond, VA. Brockenbrough provides civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering; architecture; surveying; and subsurface utility designation services to a wide variety of public and private clients. Job Duties
- Manage project design including technical quality, people, process, cost, and schedule.
- Collaborate with Project Manager and other engineering / architecture disciplines on complex projects. Ideal candidate may also be ready to step into a Project Management roll themselves.
- Supervise and / or Prepare design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Detailed design engineering and QA / QC checks.
- Prepare studies and reports.
- Site investigations and construction administration.
- Identify and manage client deliverables and expectations.
- Permitting and coordination with federal, state, and local municipalities.
- Communicate with a high level of professionalism with clients, sub-consultants, and office staff.
Required Qualifications
An ideal candidate would be an engineer who can execute a project from idea to occupancy with little oversite. Someone looking to take the next step in their career who is ready to work with clients, navigate jurisdictional requirements, and has the ability to design the projects autonomously using current technology.
