Stratus is looking for a proactive Mid-Level SQL Developer to join our team, with a strong focus on SQL Server 2022 in a cloud environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in SQL development and Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC), particularly in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Personal Lines domain. You will play a key role in supporting development and data migration activities while collaborating closely with our State Migration team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis and write advanced SQL queries using SQL Server 2022 on a cloud platform.
- Utilize SQL features including:
- Temporary tables
- ROW_NUMBER() and other partitioning functions
- Data formatting and manipulation functions
- Merge operations for data updates
- Design and maintain stored procedures, including efficient use of parameters.
- Assist with requirement elicitation by working directly with users and stakeholders.
- Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem resolution related to data and system issues.
- Support PolicyCenter-related data tasks and migration efforts.
- Contribute to team development efforts and mentor less experienced team members as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 4 years of hands-on SQL development experience, preferably with SQL Server 2022.
- Experience working in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of stored procedures, parameter usage, and SQL optimization techniques.
- Solid experience in data analysis and transformation.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter is highly preferred.
- Background in P&C insurance, particularly in Personal Lines, is a strong plus.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Agile development processes.
- Experience with state migration or large-scale data migration projects.
