Responsibilities
- Review and confirm shipping notifications and driving schedules provided by the Production Manager.
- Load products and materials into trailers and trucks securely and efficiently.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Obtain and verify delivery confirmations for all shipments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, vehicles, and surrounding areas.
- Support miscellaneous projects, including office moves, facility cleanup, and general shop organization.
- Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all regulations.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime as required by management.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate tasks and deliveries.
- Attend necessary meetings and training sessions as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL (or ability to obtain and maintain one).
- Ability to be insured under the company’s vehicle insurance policy.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions, maps, and directions.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
- Strong team player with the ability to build and maintain working relationships.
- Basic mathematical proficiency for load calculations and delivery logs.
