Responsibilities
- Apply vinyl to various substrates, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and design standards.
- Inspect, clean, and prepare work areas and materials before starting each project.
- Verify cutout patterns against dimensional data, photographs, blueprints, samples, or customer specifications.
- Select appropriate vinyl materials based on work orders or supervisor instructions.
- Operate laminator machines to cut vinyl into designated shapes and sizes.
- Use precision tools, such as X-Acto knives, to remove vinyl pieces and backing accurately.
- Smooth vinyl surfaces, removing wrinkles and air bubbles using squeegees or hands for a professional finish.
- Inspect completed products visually to confirm they meet specifications and are free of defects.
- Cure materials by allowing them to set at room temperature or placing them under heat lamps as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
- Comfortable working with hands on detailed and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within established processes.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
