Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Test Lead to spearhead the testing efforts for critical Underwriting and Rating initiatives. This role will focus on driving key projects related to the implementation of new systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of Underwriting and Rating concepts, and the ability to manage multiple components like automation and performance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the testing strategy for underwriting and rating initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Work closely with high-level stakeholders to drive the direction and execution of testing efforts for new systems.
- Take initiative in leading project meetings and workshops, engaging with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple testing components, including but not limited to automation, performance testing, and overall quality assurance.
- Develop, write, and execute test strategies for new platforms and systems.
- Foster communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring the timely resolution of issues and smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress of the testing efforts, ensuring deadlines are met, and adapt strategies as necessary.
- Oversee the testing lifecycle from test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management.
- Document and report testing results clearly to stakeholders, providing insights into risks, progress, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Underwriting and Rating, including deep knowledge of industry concepts and processes.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to drive testing efforts independently and coordinate with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing testing components, such as automation and performance testing.
- Strong initiative and self-starter mentality, with the ability to take charge of testing efforts and lead projects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining focus on objectives.
- Experience working with small to medium-sized companies is a plus.
- Experience in managing test strategies for new systems (experience with Earnix and Federato is not required, but familiarity with their purposes is beneficial).
Salary : $60 - $75
