About the Team
We are a dynamic team at Stratwolf Talent, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services, with a focus on first-article inspection, quality inspection plans, incoming inspections, gauge management, product release, and change control boards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review electrical and mechanical drawings to ensure that all necessary measuring equipment is available, as well as instructions, programs, and inspection requirements are created and available.
- Perform the inspection of the first article, collaborate with Engineering for potential deviation approval, and provide in-process inspection sheets, guidelines, measurement equipment, and measurement programs for production personnel.
- Review and evaluate non-conforming materials through the Material Review Board process.
- Assist with root cause analysis and recommend corrective action(s) for a broad range of internal and external customer issues related to quality assurance.
- Interpret specifications and test results for engineering dispositions, working with Engineering and Manufacturing to find a solution that ensures a win-win situation.
- Collaborate in developing test plans to verify process performance and compliance with customer requirements as part of new product development projects.
- Perform QMS internal audits and floor audits (gemba walks) to support continual improvement initiatives.
- Use appropriate data collection and analysis and apply the optimal quality improvement tools and techniques to achieve desired outcomes for process optimization, reducing variation, error-proofing, and continual improvement.
- Ensure the Quality Assurance Lab layout is maintained with 5S standards.
- Oversee and manage Quality Technicians.
